In the Czech Republic, I’m Vilém Samiec, in the world I’m William Samiec, and in the world of culture I’m William Slawoited. I was born on September 19, 2007, in the Czech Republic in Silesia, specifically in Frýdek-Místek, where I still live today. I am a student of Information Technology at FrenGP school in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. I chose this school because I like technology. I also enjoy music (especially metal), aviation, photography, art, traveling, and much more...
Guitarist & Slawoited
I’ve loved rock, metal, and punk music ever since I was born, and when I saw recordings of various concerts, I fell in love with the guitar. I really wanted to be like those guitarists on TV, playing in front of a big crowd. I got my first guitar when I was about 8 years old, I was so motivated to learn, but the problem was that I got a classical guitar, and I lost interest after a while. I learned to play the guitar with various breaks. I really got into it during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I finally had the chance to play an electric guitar. As time went on, I improved until, in August 2023, I decided to start a project that became the current band Slawoited...

The jurney in aviation
Since 2017, when I flew on an airplane for the first time, I fell in love with aviation, and to this day, my dream is to become a pilot.
In 2019, I became a virtual pilot in the IVAO and Vatsim communities and flew for various virtual airlines, where I was actively flying until I started high school. Real pilots also flew for these airlines, and thanks to them, I know everything there is to know about airplanes. They even trained me on Boeing 737s (virtually, of course). I also tried ATC a few times. I have flown about 3,000 hours virtually.
During the COVID pandemic, I trained on Let L-13 Blaník and Let L-23 gliders, where I completed the theory, but due to my young age, I was unable to continue with the practical part. I have flown about 20 hours in gliders.
